McConaughey Will NOT Be Magnum P.I.
That’s right. McConaughey, despite earlier rumors that would suggest otherwise, will NOT be starring in the Magnum P.I. remake. Despite his glorious cinematic masterpieces such as Failure to Launch and Dazed and Confused, the producer of the Magnum PI remake, Brian Grazer, has talked down any chances of McConaughey reprising Tom Selleck’s role. Grazer has said, however, that he does not want an actor to replace Tom Selleck, rather “to find someone that is just so different that you go, oh my God! That guy is Magnum?!?”
